Sealant and adhesive supply starts with the joint, not with a product name. Name the application (glazing joint, façade joint, perimeter, bonding), the two substrates, the joint width and expected movement if the specification gives them, the exposure, the colour, and the quantity. If a standard or a manufacturer system is named, copy it. Compatibility is a chemical and a warranty issue; we do not run adhesion tests.
Colour is often a site-visible fact. If the joint sits against anodised aluminium or a coated cassette, send the colour intent. Weathering and UV exposure belong in the same note. Primer requirements, if the specification mentions them, should travel with the sealant request.
Pack format — cartridge, sausage, pail — and whether the quantity is a first-principles takeoff or a contingency should be stated. We do not publish unit prices here. Shelf life and storage are manufacturer facts passed on with the item when they are provided.
Sealants sit next to panels, glass and insulation in a wall. Send those categories together when they form one envelope. Glass Architectural supplies the stated material; it does not apply sealant or guarantee a watertight joint on an unstated substrate.

Sourcing and documentation
Sourced against application, substrates, movement, exposure and colour as written. Product data is supplied where the manufacturer provides it. Final suitability depends on the project specification, substrate, exposure and system design.
