Aluminium composite panel (ACP) is a sandwich sheet: two aluminium skins bonded to a core. Fabricators fold it into cassettes, soffits, canopies and column covers. Procurement teams usually arrive with a thickness, a finish family, a colour reference and a quantity in square metres or sheets. Those four facts already change mill, coating and packing. Without them a quotation can only be a holding position.
Panel type matters as much as colour. A specification may name a core family, a fire-related classification, or a coating system. We treat those as enquiry fields, not as a catalogue of what is always on hand. If the written specification and the available supply differ, the difference is raised before a price is offered. That is slower than sending a generic sheet, and it is the point of a trading desk.
Finish and colour should be sent as the project states them: coating type, gloss, metallic or solid, and a RAL, NCS or manufacturer code if one exists. Close visual matches are not assumed. Coil-coated aluminium reads differently beside anodised metal and beside glass; the quotation will say what finish is being offered.
Sheet size, grain direction and cassette module affect yield. If the façade drawings already fix a module, send it. If the quantity is still an estimate, say so. We source against the stated requirement and the documentation the manufacturer can provide for that item — product data, and test or origin documents where they exist. We do not install panels, design the rainscreen, or certify the wall.

Sourcing and documentation
Supply is quoted against the panel type, finish and size that can be offered. Manufacturer documentation is passed on where it exists for that item. Final suitability depends on the project specification, substrate, exposure and system design.
