A fixing is defined by the connection it makes, not by a brand aisle. The enquiry should name the type if the specification does (self-drilling screw, rivet, anchor, bolt), the substrate, the material of the parts being joined, the dimensions, the coating or stainless grade, and the quantity. If a load or a European or national ETA is written into the specification, copy that line — we source against it; we do not re-engineer the connection.
Corrosion exposure belongs next to material. A4 stainless and a coated carbon-steel screw are different items. Mixing metals at a façade joint is a design decision; we will quote the fastener that is asked for, or state the alternative we can offer.
Dimensions in millimetres and thread designation (M8 × 40) keep the request unambiguous in both Arabic and English. Pack size and whether the quantity is a site estimate should be said once. We do not publish a stock count.
Fixings are often requested with the panel, profile or steel they hold. Send those on one email. Product data is passed on where the manufacturer provides it for that item. Glass Architectural does not install fixings or take responsibility for pull-out in an unverified substrate.
